An American Girl Day

First I played on the computer, and I got to take care of Penny. Penny, the horse, if you want to know what I'm talking about. First I got to give Penny an apple. Then I gave her some water. Then I brushed her fur. Then I was riding like the wind!

But, then I started thinking I just wanted to ordinary ride her. And then I got to take care of Jefferson and... this other horse, but I can't think of the name. Oh, now I remember: Dorcas. And then I went to the ice cream parlor. I found a Roosevelt picture. Then I made my American Girl doll a Samantha outfit because I'm doing Samantha this year. Samantha and Felicity are the same as Kit, guys. Remember when I had Dad write that she's an American Girl? Well, they are, too.

Then I had cookies; I pretended that they were little rock cakes. Then I drank some milk. Then I started reciting. I'm going to do a Samantha play this year. There's also an American Girl song that I have to sing. [Ed. - much giggling at this moment.]

"Tra la la la la... etc."

I'm doing the American Girl Polka [Ed. - You don't want to know.] "American Girl! American Girl! Yeeeeah!"

[Ed. - Sorry. I'm not going to type all the silliness immediately behind me.]

And I even had ice cream from the ice cream parlor. Then I went ice skating with Samantha today. You should see this cute little picture of Samantha. [Ed. - I'm apparently supposed to verify that, yes, she is cute.]

I got to have a party with Nellie. Then I drank something that Felicity had. Oh, and did I forget to tell you? I got a wig today. And I also got to work on a sampler. Felicity is not very patient, and I dont' think I would be, either. I like to pretend more than being patient. [Ed. - verified.]

And I had to make tea today. It's one of my lessons. And I was escaping from my house, like Kaya. Doodle says that she just saw a full moon, but... Well, I guess Doodle is right, but... not very much. I wrote that because I'm embarrassed. Sheesh!

And I was just thinking... today me and Felicity got to go on an adventure. Here's the first part. First we sneaked out to Penny. A horse, again. And guess what? I jumped over the fence with Penny! It was so much fun. And then we ran around our house. Do you want me to tell you who the owner of Penny was. [Ed. - No.] Jiggy Nye. He's mean to horses, and he's quite grumpy to peope. He won't even buy oats for his horses. That's why I gave Penny an apple.

Well that's all for today!

Love,

Jelly

The Best Day Ever

Well, first, I got to cut my hair! And when I got hold the ponytails, I bet the little girl is happy right now. I did lots of love today! I wish it were called "locks of love." Hey, I guess I'm right! I get to send the hair that someone cut off to a little girl. I'm going to give it to a bald little girl that doesn't have any hair.

Then I got to go to the library, and there were loads of books that I picked. Including Mary-Kate and Ashley. After that, I got to drink a chocolate shake. And I even got pizza! I had to drink a lot of water today because I was getting quite dry.

And the book that I read was awesome. I'm going to tell you about some of my favorite library books. I have quite a lot, but I'm only going to tell you about a few of them. Just in case people get tired of reading. There's a mouse TV book that I really liked. And a cat one. I hope mice don't get scared if they read my blog; after all, I said something about a cat!

I used to have this favorite time book, but I couldn't get it. Here's my last but not least favorite kid book: The cover of the book is "Flicks." By Tomy DePaola. Oh, and by the way, for you reaers, it's not "Flint," it's "Flicks." Ok? Say, "Flick!" I even got read a book with Mommy about Mary-Kate and Ashley. And Doodle said that I'm writing too much. Hmph! [Ed. - many giggles in the background.] Maybe I am writing too much. Hm... let me think! Um, maybe I am, maybe I'm not. [Ed. - Definitely "am."]

The last but not least part of my blog! I was just about to flop around my new, very fabulous haircut!

I'm writing a journal for parties. I'm writing very, very, very, [Ed. - It's a disease.] very, very, pretty. You should see my new hair cut everybody. And I bet the children at Church will be surprised!

I loved school today! I had lunch. I got to read books at the doctor's office. "Baby's Favorite Toys," "A Mousey Birthday," and one more book: a toddler book called "I Can."

Love from,

Sincerely Jelly
